Ashia Mirza is a writer of fiction and poetry, and the winner of Hashtag 2025. She works part-time as an informatics pharmacist, balancing science and data with poetry and storytelling.

 

When she’s not writing or working, Ashia can often be found swimming or walking – where many of her stories are dreamt up and developed – or attending to the demands of Tokyo the cat.
