Submission Guidelines

We are looking for excellent new writers and are open for submissions.

Please note: Please read the about us before submitting to us. We are open to all genres but we're looking for adult commercial fiction, children's, middle-grade and Non-fiction. We do not publish picture books.

We love diverse books! We are only interested in stories that showcase diverse and inclusive characters, strong woman and books that are targeted to underrepresented audience eg: Pivotal by Nikki Vallance is aimed at women over 40. We are open to debut authors especially those from an underrepresented background. 


We are currently closed to YA and Non-fiction with themes of death, historical, parenting and fitness. 


We read every email that comes in. We would prefer books that haven't been published already. 

We only review submissions via email. Please email

Children, middle-grade, teen, YA, Chick-lit books: In subject heading address it to Abiola Bello.

Non-fiction, Phycological Thrillers, Crime fiction, Women's fiction books: In subject heading address it to Helen Lewis.

Please don't send the same book to both of us. Please don't send us a film pitch or a book cover.


Please send

1. The first three chapters of your manuscript, in font Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced. Just the first 3 chapters regardless of how long or short they are.

2. A one-page (maximum) author biography including social media links

3. A pitch - just a couple of sentences, like a blurb of the book or elevator pitch. Imagine you find yourself in a lift with one of us - what would you tell us about your book that would make us want to contact you again once you get out of the lift?

4. A synopsis - tell us your story line, crucial parts in the story and the ending

If we are interested in your book we will be in touch within eight weeks. We are a small and very busy team. We will always try out best to get in touch ASAP. If you don't hear back from us, unfortunately it's a no.
